The XL100K0 was sold in 1974 and came in just one color: Candy Topaz Orange. The "HONDA" decal on the tank and the "XL100" decal on the side cover were both black. The shock springs were chrome. The XL100K1 was sold in 1975 and came in one color: Candy Ruby Red with Special Silver Metallic. The fenders were silver painted steel. The seat was not pleated. The shock springs were black.
