The Honda XL350R was a single cylinder, four-stroke Naked motorcycle produced by Honda between 1974 and 1987. It could reach a top speed of 83 mph (134 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 26.42 HP (19.7 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 84.0mm bore x 61.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 340.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.00-21 front tire and a 4.60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The XL350R was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank.

The XL350K0 was sold in 1974 and came in one color: Metallic Silver with blue stripes. The gas tank, fenders, and headlight shell were silver. The stripes on the gas tank and fender were blue. The fenders and side covers were black. the "XL350" side cover decal was red and white. The headlight shell was silver. The XL350'76 was sold in 1976 and came in one color: Excell Black with Red and White. The gas tank and side covers were 2-tone black and red. The fenders were white color impregnated plastic. The "XL350" side cover decal was black with a white outline. The bike had a new frame and chassis with an upswept exhaust system. The engine was a 348cc OHC 4-valve single cylinder linked to a 5-speed transmission. The serial number began XL350-3000001.

The XL350'77 was sold in 1977 and came in one color: Tahitian Red with Black. The gas tank and side covers were 2-toned black and red. The fenders were red, color impregnated plastic. The "XL350" side cover decal was also red. The bike had the new frame and chassis with an upswept exhaust system introduced in 1976.
