The Honda XR250R was a in-line four, four-stroke Enduro motorcycle produced by Honda between 1981 and 2008. It could reach a top speed of 87 mph (140 km/h). Max torque was 17.48 ft/lbs (23.7 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 22.8 HP (17.0 KW) @ 7500 RPM.


Intro

Prior to 1981 the XR250R didn't have the "R" suffix at the end and was simply called the XR250.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled four-stroke. A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 250.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 120/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The XR250 Tornado was fitted with a 2.91 Gallon (11.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 295.42 pounds (134.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 55.12 inches (1400 mm) long.
