The '''[[Husqvarna]] SM 701 SUPERMOTO''' was a Single cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled Enduro [[motorcycle]] produced by [[Husqvarna]] in 2016. Max [[torque]] was 48.68 ft/lbs (66.0 Nm) @ 6000 RPM. Claimed [[horsepower]] was 67.05 HP (50.0 KW) @ 7500 RPM.

A 101.6mm [[bore]] x 101.6mm [[stroke]] result in a [[displacement]] of just 690.0 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6-Speed manual transmission. Power was moderated via the APTC(TM) slipper clutch, hydraulically actuated. 
 
==Chassis==
It came with a 120/70 ZR front [[tire]] and a 160/60 x 17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Brembo four-piston radial fixed calliper, brake disc in the front and a Brembo single-piston floating calliper, brake disc in the rear. The front suspension was a  WP USD 48 mm while the rear was equipped with a WP shock absorber with Pro-Lever linkage. The wheelbase was 55.39 inches (1407 mm) long.

Like the 690s, the 701s are built around an 18-pound chrome-moly-steel trellis frame. The subframe is unique to the Husky, as it is constructed out of molded polyamide (aka plastic) and features an integrated 3.4-gallon fuel tank. (The filler cap is integrated into the rear fender.) Husky says that the subframe was built strong enough to carry a passenger, and side bags and a larger fuel tank, which Husky will soon offer for both bikes as accessories. The frame allows for a front-mounted airbox, which is easily accessible from under the seat
