The Husqvarna TC449 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Husqvarna between 2011 and 2013.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 98.0mm bore x 59.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 449.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multi plate, hydraulic operation.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 110/90-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. wave design disc in the front and a single disc. wave design disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm kayaba sealed cartridge usd while the rear was equipped with a cts with kayaba multi adjustable shock. The TC449 was fitted with a 2.25 Gallon (8.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 238.1 pounds (108.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.66 inches (1490 mm) long.

The 2010 MY Husqvarna TC 449 comes standard with the acclaimed Coaxial Traction System (CTS), which significantly increases its traction, even under the most treacherous off-road conditions. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Other features worth mentioning would be the CDI engine mapping, which offers a choice between two selectable riding modes, to better suit track conditions and riding style.

The 2011 MY Husqvarna TC 449 is a new machine from the Swedish brand, and addresses those riders who want the best performance possible out of their machine. It comes with a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission. In addition, it features a Constant Traction System, which minimises the effect of the power transfer through the drive chain on the suspension to provide improved traction everywhere. Also, a 48 mm Kayaba fork and a Kayaba rear shock ensure superior maneuverability and a higher level of rider comfort.
