The engine was a liquid cooled liquid cooled, four stroke, single cylinder, DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder. A 96.5mm bore x 96.5mm stroke result in a displacement of just 510.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 120/70-17 front tire and a 150/60-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 320mm disc with 4-piston calipers in the front and a single 220mm disc with 2-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi 50 mm upside-down telescopic hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a Progressive with hydraulic single shock absorber. The TC 510 was fitted with a 1.9 Gallon (7.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 231.49 pounds (105.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.9 inches (1496 mm) long.
2004 Husqvarna TC 510[edit | edit source]
The 2006 mode of the TC 510 had brand new 50mm Marzocchi sealed cartridge forks, Ohlins shock absorber, new 28mm handlebars, while the intake valves have been enlarged from 33mm to 37mm.
2009 Husqvarna TC 510[edit | edit source]
For motocross fans that want a powerful, single cylinder machine, the engineers from Husqvarna have launched the 2009 MY Husqvarna TC 510. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 501cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to six-speed manual transmission. In addition, it boasts improvements, such as the new frame, which has been reinforced at the points of maximum stress, and is also lighter than its previous embodiment, the introduction of wave type brake discs, which make for a safer machine, and the revised settings of the suspension system, which is now fully adjustable, and increases the range of motocross tracks it can tackle.
