The Husqvarna TE400 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Husqvarna between 2001 and 2002. Claimed horsepower was 33.26 HP (24.8 KW) @ 7200 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 91.5mm bore x 60.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 399.5 cubic centimeters.
