EngineEdit
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 101.0mm bore x 59.6mm stroke result in a displacement of just 478.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
DriveEdit
The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multi plate, hydraulic operation.

It came with a 90/90-21 front tire and a 140/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. wave disc. in the front and a single disc. wave disc. in the rear. The front suspension was a 48mm kayaba usd while the rear was equipped with a cts with kayaba multi adjustable shock. The TE511 was fitted with a 2.25 Gallon (8.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 249.12 pounds (113.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.66 inches (1490 mm) long.

It boasts a few improvements, such as new IPD's and plastics, a 48 mm Kayaba upside-down fork, as well as a new headlight and a revised engine. At its heart lies a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 511cc, single cylinder engine paired to a six-speed manual transmission. In addition, a new rear shock absorber allows more riders to enjoy this machine.

In addition, a Brembo braking system also boosts its overall performance, and makes for a safer machine.
2012 Husqvarna TE 511Edit
The 2012 MY Husqvarna TE 511 sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 511cc, single cylinder lump paired to a six-speed manual transmission. It comes standard with high-end parts such as a Keihin Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, a coaxial traction system, a Brembo hydraulic clutch and an electric starter. In addition, the under-seat fuel tank has been redesigned, as well as the seat itself, increasing its desirability.
