The engine was a liquid cooled liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder. A 99.1mm bore x 99.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 576.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

It came with a 90/90-18 front tire and a 140/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260 mm disc, 4-piston caliper in the front and a single 220 mm disc, 2-piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Marzocchi telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Sachs progressive monoshock. The TE 570 was fitted with a 2.38 Gallon (9.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 258.6 pounds (117.3 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.5 inches (1486 mm) long.
