==Engine==
A 99.1mm [[bore]] x 99.1mm [[stroke]] result in a [[displacement]] of just 449.0 cubic centimeters.  

==Drive==
The bike has a 6-speed, manual transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.  

==Chassis==
It came with a 90/90-21 front [[tire]] and a 120/80-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 260mm disc with 2-piston calipers in the front and a single 220mm disc with 2-piston calipers in the rear. The front suspension was a  48 mm Kayaba cartridge fork while the rear was equipped with a Kayaba progressive monoshock. The wheelbase was 57.91 inches (1471 mm) long.

The 2010 MY Husqvarna TE 449 sports a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 449cc, single cylinder engine mated to a six speed manual transmission, and is one of the most powerful off-road machines in its class. Its fuel tank is located under the seat, which lowers its center of gravity, and makes for a more stable two-wheeler. In addition, the 2010 MY comes with improvements, such as new IPD's, a more powerful headlight, a new rear mudguard with integrated number plate, a new silencer and a new Sachs rear shock absorber.
