The Indian Chief was a v2, four-stroke custom / cruiser motorcycle produced between 1922 and 1948.

Engine

A 83.0mm bore x 113.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1210.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The final drive was via chain.

Chassis

Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equiped with a plungertype with coil springs. The wheelbase was 60.63 inches (1540 mm) long.
