The Indian Roadmaster was a v2, four-stroke touring motorcycle produced between 2015 and 2019. Max torque was 119.05 ft/lbs (161.4 Nm) @ 3000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 101.0mm bore x 113.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1811.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.5:1 compression ratio.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. The final drive was via belt. Power was moderated via the gear drive wet clutch.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 130/90-b16 front tire and a 180/60-r16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc. abs. floating discs. 4 piston caliper. in the front and a single disc. abs. floating disc. 2-piston caliper. in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic forks-cartrigde typq while the rear was equiped with a single shock with air adjust. The Roadmaster was fitted with a 5.49 Gallon (20.80 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 888.46 pounds (403.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 65.67 inches (1668 mm) long.

The 2015 MY Indian Roadmaster is the American brand's response for those riders who want to spend as much time as possible behind the bars, but also want a vintage-looking machine. At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1811cc, Thunder Stroke 111 V-Twin powerplant paired to a six-speed manual transmission, and can reach a maximum power output of 139 Nm of torque at 2600 rpm.

It boasts standard features such as a rear trunk with a luggage rack mounted atop it and an integrated passenger backrest, a fork-mounted, bat-wing fairing with a small windscreen and an integrated audio system, full-coverage fenders, a chromed, large-diameter, 2-into-1 exhaust system and slotted-disc wheels.

The 2016 MY Indian Roadmaster is the most well-equipped machine in the 2016 Indian line-up, boasting the capability of crossing continents, whether solo or two-up. It comes standard with hard saddlebags, a rear trunk with a luggage rack atop it and an integrated passenger backrest, a fork-mounted, bat-wing fairing with a small windscreen and an integrated audio system, full-coverage fenders, slotted-disc wheels and a chromed, large-diameter, 2-into-1 exhaust system. Also, ABS and cruise control technologies come as standard.
