Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 2.5 x 16 front tire and a 3x16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single 200mm disc in the front and a drum in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a monoshock. The wheelbase was 47.2 inches (1199 mm) long.

The 2011 MY Jawa 50 is an entry-level machine for the more young among riders, as well as a suitable fuel-efficient, daily commuter for those riders who prefer a small-bore, four-stroke engine. It comes standard with three-spoked, cast-aluminum wheels, a front brake disc, a telescopic fork as a front suspension and a single shock absorber as a rear suspension.

In the tech/engine department, it sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder lump paired to a four-speed manual transmission, and can produce 3 horsepower and 3 Nm of torque.
