The KTM 250 SX was a single cylinder, two-stroke cross / motocross motorcycle produced between 2000 and 2019.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 66.4mm bore x 72.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 14.0:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain. Power was moderated via the wet, dds multi-disc clutch, brembo hydraulics.

Chassis

It came with a 80/100-21 front tire and a 100/90-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a wp-usd, aer 48, ø 48 mm while the rear was equiped with a wp shock absorber with linkage. The 250 SX was fitted with a 1.85 Gallon (7.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 209.44 pounds (95.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 58.86 inches (1495 mm) long.
