The engine was a Air cooled cooled Four stroke, s, ingle cylinder. The engine featured a 11:1 [[compression ratio]]. 
 
==Chassis==
It came with a 90/90-10 front [[tire]] and a 90/90-10 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Single disc, 2 piston caliper in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a  Hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a Double swingarm, dual shocks. The Sento 50 was fitted with a 5 L / 1.3 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 90 kg / 198 lbs. The wheelbase was 1195 mm / 47.0 in long.

Despite its retro style, the Kymco New Sento is loaded with
modern technologies which help it deliver superior levels of efficiency and
performance.
 
Thanks to its compact dimensions and slim frame, the Kymco New Sento 50i is
fairly easy to ride, so you can deal effortless with the city traffic.
 
Among the features offered by the Kymco New Sento 50i you’ll find a front LED
positioning light, a built in open storage compartment under the front
handlebar, a generous 5.5 liters gas tank and a long textured seat.
 
Power comes from a 49,5 cc, 4 stroke, single cylinder, air cooled engine which
cranks out a maximum output of 3.2 kw at 8000 rpm and 3.7 Nm of torque at 6500
rpm.
