The Kawasaki A1 Samurai was a twin, two-stroke Road motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 1967 and 1971. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (160 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 30.31 HP (22.6 KW) @ 8000 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a air cooled twin, two-stroke. A 53.0mm bore x 56.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 247.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a rotary valves.

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3.00-18 front tire and a 3.25-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equipped with a swingarm. The A1 Samurai was fitted with a 3.57 Gallon (13.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 319.67 pounds (145.0 Kg).
