The engine was a Liquid cooled cooled Four stroke, transverse four cylinder, DOHC, 4 Valve per cylinder.. The engine featured a 11.5:1 compression ratio.
Drive[edit | edit source]
Power was moderated via the Wet multi disc.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-16 front tire and a 130/90-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x 300mm discs 4 piston calipers in the front and a Single 240mm disc 1 piston caliper in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm Telescopic forks while the rear was equipped with a Rising rate monoshock. The GPz400R was fitted with a 16 Liters / 4.2 US gal fuel tank. The bike weighed just 176 kg / 388 lbs. The wheelbase was 1395 mm / 54.9 in long.
