The Kawasaki GTR1000 was a in-line four, four-stroke Sport touring motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 1987 and 2001. It could reach a top speed of 121 mph (195 km/h). Max torque was 63.43 ft/lbs (86.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 95.88 HP (71.5 KW) @ 9000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 74.0mm bore x 58.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 998.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc, manual.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70-vr18 front tire and a 150/80-vr16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Uni-Trak monoshock, air-assisted. The GTR1000 was fitted with a 7.53 Gallon (28.50 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 568.79 pounds (258.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 61.22 inches (1555 mm) long.
