The '''Kawasaki J1''' was an 85cc [[street motorcycle]] manufactured by [[Kawasaki]] from 1965 through 1968 and consisted of 4 variants. It was the first Kawasaki model with a [[Rotary Disc Valve|rotary disc valve]] engine and gave rise to the [[Kawasaki D1]] by boring out the J1.

The '''Kawasaki J1T''' and '''Kawasaki J1L''', a touring version, shared the same design but had a half chain case, and white sidewall tires. Made from 1965-1967.except for the upswept exhaust system giving these models the slight appearance of having some trail or off-road capabilities.
