The Kawasaki KM100 was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Kawasaki between 1978 and 1981. It could reach a top speed of 53 mph (86 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 8.58 HP (6.4 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 49.5mm bore x 51.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 100.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a rotary valves.
