The KT250 was Kawasaki's first production trials machine. It had a 69.5 x 65 mm [[piston port]] [[two-stroke]] engine based on that of the [[Kawasaki F11]]. It had a maximum power output of 16bhp @ 6,500 rpm and was the first Japanese trials bike to be competitive with those produced by the Spanish.
