The Kawasaki KZ1000B is a motorcycle produced by Kawasaki from 1977 to 1980.
The KZ1000B LTD model '77-'80 was the first custom liter sized motorcycle for Kawasaki. It was modeled after the US designed '76 KZ900 LTD. It was mainly a US market stylization on the popular KZ1000. The LTD was assembled in the Lincoln, Nebraska plant from parts shipped over from Japan. The bike came with a 4 to 2 Jardine exhaust, Boge Mullholand shocks, Goodyear tires, a 19 inch wheel in the front, a fat 16 inch wheel in the rear, bobbed chrome front and rear fenders, a chrome chain guard, a two tiered saddlemen seat, handlebar mounted front turn signals, triple disk brakes, mag wheels, and a teardrop gas tank. The Jardine exhaust ran under the frame and prohibited the use of a center stand on the bike.
