Intro

After the success of the original Z1, the next generation of Kawasaki superbike was the Z1R. The stylish cafe racer look and four-into-one exhaust was a first for Kawasaki. The Z1R featured an increase in power for its 1000cc engine and once again, Kawasaki set the world's fastest production motorcycle record with quarter mile times of 11.95 seconds at 110.25 mph.
