The Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic was a v2, four-stroke Cruiser motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 1996 and 2009. Max torque was 84.6 ft/lbs (114.7 Nm) @ 2800 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 63.97 HP (47.7 KW) @ 4700 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a liquid cooled v2, four-stroke. A 102.0mm bore x 90.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1470.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 130/90-16 front tire and a 150/80-16 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 41mm hydraulic telescopic fork / 5.9 in. while the rear was equipped with a twin shocks, with five-way adjustable preload / 3.4 in.. The Vulcan 1500 Classic was fitted with a 5.0 Gallon (18.92 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 658.96 pounds (298.9 Kg). The wheelbase was 65.59 inches (1666 mm) long.
