The Kawasaki Z250 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Kawasaki between 1979 and 2017. It could reach a top speed of 103 mph (165 km/h). Max torque was 15.49 ft/lbs (21.0 Nm) @ 8600 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 31.38 HP (23.4 KW) @ 9700 RPM.

Engine[edit | edit source]

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 61.2mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the wet multi-disc.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 110/80-17 front tire and a 140/70-17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. hydraulic. two-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a 37mm hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a bottom-link uni-trak with gas-charged shock and 5-way adjustable preload.
