The Kawasaki Z500 was a in-line four, four-stroke Road motorcycle produced by Kawasaki between 1979 and 1980. It could reach a top speed of 112 mph (180 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 48.95 HP (36.5 KW) @ 9000 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled in-line four, four-stroke. A 55.0mm bore x 52.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 498.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a double overhead cams/twin cam (dohc).
Drive
The bike has a 6-speed transmission.
Chassis
It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 3.75-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The Z500 was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank.
