The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 62.0mm bore x 57.8mm stroke result in a displacement of just 174.5 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a single overhead cams (sohc).

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the wet, multiplate.

It came with a 120/70-13 front tire and a 140/70-12 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic hydraulic fork while the rear was equipped with a dual shocks, adjustable. The Yager GT200i was fitted with a 2.9 Gallon (10.98 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 307.99 pounds (139.7 Kg). The wheelbase was 54.69 inches (1389 mm) long.
2012 Kymco Yager GT 200iEdit
The 2012 MY Kymco Yager GT 200i sports a fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 174cc, single cylinder powerplant paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The Taiwanese engineers have designed this machine to be a comfortable and gritty daily commuter, with the possibility of riding it on extended hauls as well, on leisure weekend strolls. It comes standard with a lockable, under-seat storage compartment, an instrument cluster with an analogue tachometer, a digital speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge and clock, a dual seat, rear luggage rack, pillion grab handles, a tinted windshield and a metallic paint scheme.
