The Laverda 750 SF1 was a air cooled, four stroke, parallel twin cylinder, 2 valves per cylinder Classic motorcycle produced by Laverda between 1972 and 1973. Claimed horsepower was 65.98 HP (49.2 KW) @ 7300 RPM.

Engine

A 78.7mm bore x 78.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 743.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a gears transmission.

Chassis

It came with a 3.50-18 front tire and a 4.0-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x230mm drum in the front and a single 200mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Ceriani telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a swinging fork, Ceriani adjustable dual shocks.

Unlike its SF predecessor, the 1972 MY Laverda 750 SF1 comes with a redesigned cylinder head and crankshaft, new 36mm PHF carburetors with accelerator pumps. The exhaust balance pipe has been increased and relocated, under the engine, and other tweaks in the innards of the engine and transmission.

In all other aspects, it has the same features and specs as its SF forefather, and sported an air-cooled, four-stroke, 743cc, parallel twin cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce 66 horsepower at 7300 rpm.

The 1973 MY Laverda 750 SF1 has, at its heart, an air-cooled, four-stroke, 743cc, parallel twin cylinder powerhouse mated to a five-speed manual transmission that can produce 66 horsepower at 7300 rpm. It comes with a Ceriani telescopic front fork, Ceriani adjustable dual shocks in the rear, a one-up saddle, and a braking system designed by the Italian's brand founder, Dr Francesco Laverda, and was composed of a dual 230mm drum system in the front and a single 200mm drum in the rear.
