The Matchless G12 was a twin, four-stroke sport motorcycle produced between 1958 and 1966. Claimed horsepower was 34.2 HP (25.5 KW) @ 6500 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke.

Drive

The final drive was via chain.

Chassis

Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equiped with a swingarm with coil-over shocks. The bike weighed just 396.83 pounds (180.0 Kg).
