The Matchless G80 was a Single Cylinder, Four Stroke Classic motorcycle produced by Matchless in 1949. Claimed horsepower was 23.07 HP (17.2 KW) @ 5400 RPM.

Chassis

Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear.

1949 - 1963 Matchless G80

Same machine as the AJS model 18, the G80 was manufactured from 1949 to 1963. The bike had a single cylinder, four stroke engine of 498cc and a compression ratio of 5.9:1. All its 23 HP were enough to pull a machine of 177 kg with a top speed of 78 mph.
