The Matchless G80E was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Matchless between 1988 and 1990. It could reach a top speed of 84 mph (135 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 33.26 HP (24.8 KW) @ 7300 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 89.0mm bore x 79.4mm stroke result in a displacement of just 494.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead cams (ohc).
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 100/90-19 front tire and a 110/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a expanding brake in the rear. The G80E was fitted with a 3.96 Gallon (15.00 Liters) fuel tank.
