Militaire

This four cylinder motorcycle was truly an unorthodox design from front to back. From the use of a car-type, air-cooled OHV engine, shaft drive, reverse gear in the transmission and “training wheels,” nothing about the Militaire was conventional. Production ran from 1911 to 1917 with less than 100 machines produced. Over the six year production run, eight companies were involved in its manufacture.
