The Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport EFI was a Air cooled, four stroke, transverse V-twin cylinder, OHC, 2 valves per cylinder Sport touring motorcycle produced by Moto Guzzi in 1996. Max torque was 70.07 ft/lbs (95.0 Nm) @ 5800 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 89.98 HP (67.1 KW) @ 7800 RPM.

Engine

A 91.9mm bore x 91.9mm stroke result in a displacement of just 1064.0 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a 5-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70 VR17 front tire and a 160/70 VR17 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 2x320mm discs 2 piston calipers in the front and a Single 283mm disc in the rear. The front suspension was a 40mm upside-down telescopic Marzocchi fork while the rear was equipped with a WP monoshock cantilever swingarm.

The later fuel injected models are the best of the 1100 Sport range, but the gearbox feels pretty sloppy and full of neutrals compared to the V11 which superceded the 1100 Sport. There's enough poke to get you the wrong side of 135mph and on something like a Guzzi, that feels bloody fast.
