The Moto Guzzi V1000 California II was a v2, four-stroke touring motorcycle produced between 1982 and 1986. It could reach a top speed of 99 mph (159 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 65.58 HP (48.9 KW) @ 6700 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 88.0mm bore x 78.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 948.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 9.2:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive[edit | edit source]

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan).

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/90-18 front tire and a 120/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The V1000 California II was fitted with a 6.08 Gallon (23.00 Liters) fuel tank.
