The Moto Guzzi V50 III was a v2, four-stroke naked bike motorcycle produced between 1977 and 1983. It could reach a top speed of 101 mph (162 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 48.01 HP (35.8 KW) @ 7600 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled v2, four-stroke. A 74.0mm bore x 57.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 490.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 10.4:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).

Drive

The bike has a 5-speed transmission. The final drive was via shaft drive (cardan). Power was moderated via the dry.

Chassis

It came with a 90/90-18 front tire and a 100/90-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via dual disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The V50 III was fitted with a 4.23 Gallon (16.00 Liters) fuel tank.
