The bike has a 3-Speed transmission. Power was moderated via the Wet multi-plate.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.50x19 front tire and a 2.50x19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Drum in the front and a Drum in the rear. The front suspension was a Telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a Swingarm with friction dampers. The wheelbase was 48.82 inches (1240 mm) long.
1953 - 1966 Moto Guzzi Zigolo[edit | edit source]
The Moto Guzzi Zigolo was launched in 1953 with a 98 cc two-stroke engine. That was probably also to the fact that producing a plate frame was much cheaper than a tubular frame. The engine was a single cylinder with a horizontal aluminum cylinder head and a cast-iron cylinder.
