The NSU 601 OSL was a single cylinder, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 1936 and 1941. It could reach a top speed of 68 mph (110 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 23.47 HP (17.5 KW) @ 4950 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 85.0mm bore x 99.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 562.0 cubic centimeters.
