The NSU Superlux was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by NSU between 1954 and 1956. It could reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 10.73 HP (8.0 KW) @ 5250 RPM.

The engine was a air cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 62.0mm bore x 66.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 198.0 cubic centimeters.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 3-19 front tire and a 3-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The Superlux was fitted with a 3.7 Gallon (14.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 335.1 pounds (152.0 Kg).
