The Norton Atlas was a twin, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 1962 and 1968. Claimed horsepower was 56.73 HP (42.3 KW) @ 6800 RPM.
Engine
The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 73.0mm bore x 89.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 745.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.9:1 compression ratio.
Drive
The bike has a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was via chain.
Chassis
It came with a 3.25-19 front tire and a 4.25-19 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via expanding brake (drum brake) in the front and a expanding brake (drum brake) in the rear. The front suspension was a telescopic while the rear was equiped with a dual chocks.
