The Norton Dominator 88SS was a twin, four-stroke allround motorcycle produced between 1956 and 1962. It could reach a top speed of 109 mph (176 km/h). Claimed horsepower was 35.27 HP (26.3 KW) @ 7000 RPM.

Engine

The engine was a air cooled twin, four-stroke. A 66.0mm bore x 73.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 497.0 cubic centimeters. The engine featured a 8.5:1 compression ratio. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
