The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 72.5mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.2 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a 6-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the hydraulic control.

Stopping was achieved via single disc. four-piston calipers. in the front and a single disc. two-piston calipers. in the rear. The front suspension was a fork with aluminum bars, 40 mm diameter marzocchi adjustable compression and rebound while the rear was equipped with a variable progressive system with shock absorber ohlins ttx adjustable compression and rebound.
