The Ossa EXPLORER 250 was a Two-stroke single cylinder inverted admission direct reed crankcase Trial motorcycle produced by Ossa in 2015.
Engine[edit | edit source]
A 73.7mm bore x 73.7mm stroke result in a displacement of just 247.7 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a Gears transmission. Power was moderated via the Hydraulic.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.75 x21 front tire and a 4.00 x18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via Disc diameter 185 mm 4-piston calliper in the front and a Disc diameter 180 mm 2-piston calliper in the rear. The front suspension was a Olle hydraulic fork with 40 mm sliders. Adjustable rebound and compression damping while the rear was equipped with a Progressive hydraulic monoshock Olle with adjustable preload. The EXPLORER 250 was fitted with a 0.53 Gallon (2.00 Liters) fuel tank. The wheelbase was 52.28 inches (1328 mm) long.
2015 Ossa EXPLORER 250[edit | edit source]
The OSSA Explorer 250 is probably the reference bike in the segment of the trial-tip. To achieve this, they didn’t simply add a “kit” to the base of the TRi but designed an entire subframe, refined ergonomics including a large comfortable seat and specific footrests, and a large fuel tank that, in combination with its efficient fuel-injected engine, provide an excellent range. To achieve this, they didn’t simply add a “kit” to the base of the TRi but designed an entire subframe, refined ergonomics including a large comfortable seat and specific footrests, and a large fuel tank that, in combination with its efficient fuel-injected engine, provide an excellent range. The 2015 model gets a new Olle front fork carefully adjusted for the use of the Explorer, along with all the engine and frame optimizations of its trials sister.
