The Piaggio FLY 50 4V was a air-cooled, single cylinder, four-stroke scooter produced by Piaggio between 2012 and 2015. Max torque was 2.95 ft/lbs (4.0 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.96 HP (3.7 KW) @ 7750 RPM.

Engine

A 38.1mm bore x 38.1mm stroke result in a displacement of just 49.9 cubic centimeters.

Drive

The bike has a CVT transmission. Power was moderated via the dry, centrifugal, automatic.

Chassis

It came with a 120/70, 12in front tire and a 120/70, 12in rear tire. Stopping was achieved via 200 mm disc, 2-piston floating caliper in the front and a 140 mm drum in the rear. The front suspension was a 32 mm telescopic hydraulic forks while the rear was equipped with a hydraulic single shock absorber. The wheelbase was 52.4 inches (1331 mm) long.

The 2012 MY Piaggio FLY 50 4V sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 49cc, single cylinder lump paired to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Visually, it has a modern, aggressive design, with lots of well-drawn lines. It comes with a two-up seat with pillion grab rails, and an under-seat storage compartment that can fit a helmet.
