The Piaggio Typhoon 50 was a single cylinder, four-stroke scooter motorcycle produced between 2005 and 2016. Max torque was 2.8 ft/lbs (3.8 Nm) @ 8000 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 4.43 HP (3.3 KW) @ 9500 RPM.

The original Typhoon was Piaggio’s fat wheeled sporty 50cc during the early years of their return to North America .The Typhoon 50 it`s a dynamic and solid vehicle with a four stroke, four-valve engine.
