The Piaggio X9 Evolution 250 was a single cylinder, four-stroke standard produced by Piaggio between 2005 and 2007. Max torque was 14.9 ft/lbs (20.2 Nm) @ 6500 RPM. Claimed horsepower was 28.83 HP (21.5 KW) @ 8250 RPM.

The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, four-stroke. A 72.0mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 249.4 cubic centimeters.

The bike has a automatic transmission. Power was moderated via the automatic centrifuge type.

Chassis[edit | edit source]

It came with a 120/70-14 front tire and a 140/60-14 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via double disc in the front and a single disc in the rear. The front suspension was a telehydraulic fork, while the rear was equipped with a twin effect hydraulic absorbers with preload adjusters. The X9 Evolution 250 was fitted with a 4.02 Gallon (15.20 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 407.86 pounds (185.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 59.06 inches (1500 mm) long.
