The Bergamo-based Rumi family has been prominent in the motorcycle world since the early 1950s, when their firm built a fast 125cc two-stroke twin that was raced to some success. In recent years the Rumi family has been involved in various projects including running a factory-backed Honda team in the World Superbike series, and producing a fine-handling aluminum framed sportsbike, the RMS650 powered by Honda's single cylinder NX650 engine.
