Overview
SYM Jet V 125
The latest addition to the competitive scooter market is the SYM Jet V, a compact sporty-look designed for the younger generation. Next to it is the new Honda Vision, a "midi" slim with 14" wheels ready to conquer scooter riders from around the world. Third but not least, the Tweet, the elegant high-wheeled Peugeot. Among the three models, the price difference is really small, but what is the most suitable for your needs?'s.
Find out ...
The first comparison is practicality: the three scooters all have a flat platform. In the leg shield the Peugeot has a small drawer with a lock, while the SYM and Honda have slots which are roomier but without any protection- be it security or rail.
The riding position of the Vision and the Tweet is cozy, the legroom is sufficient, while the Jet V is the highest should ond one have to move back on the saddle not to knock the leg shield. On the latter, thanks to the low seat height, touching the ground is easy. In traffic, the Vision (the lightest of the three) shows surprising maneuverability that allows you to weave in between cars with ease. However, it should be noted that the Jet V has direction more easily, thanks to the 10"wheels. Also the a turning radius so small that it can maneuver in tight spaces. The Tweet is a bit less agile than rivals, but its front end pays off with much less reactive stability - even in the close to the maximum speed of 90 km/h as indicated - and with greater precision when entering a curve. In the traffic performance of the three engines are almost equal and the Honda, even though it is a 110 cc, it is not disadvantaged.
And finally, riding the scooters!
Covering an average of 20 km a day starting on a Monday, we
revividited the petrol station only on Friday. The credit goes
to these three procudcts in that they are brilliant performaners
but are really not thirsty, in particular the Vision. During the
"pit stop" the most practical however was the Jet V with the cap
placed in leg shield which allows you to refuel without getting
off. The rivals had to rais the saddle.
The choice is yours.
