The Sherco 300 ST was a single cylinder, two-stroke Trial motorcycle produced by Sherco between 2009 and 2017.
Engine[edit | edit source]
The engine was a liquid cooled single cylinder, two-stroke. A 79.0mm bore x 60.0mm stroke result in a displacement of just 294.0 cubic centimeters.
Drive[edit | edit source]
The bike has a 5-speed transmission. Power was moderated via the multiplate in oil bath.
Chassis[edit | edit source]
It came with a 2.50-21 front tire and a 2.75-18 rear tire. Stopping was achieved via single disc. hydraulically activated floating disc in the front and a single disc. hydraulically activated floating disc in the rear. The front suspension was a tech ø 39 mm hydraulic telescopic fork while the rear was equipped with a r16v. progressive link system with single adjustable shock absorber. The 300 ST was fitted with a 0.63 Gallon (2.40 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed just 149.91 pounds (68.0 Kg). The wheelbase was 52.05 inches (1322 mm) long.
2016 Sherco 300 ST[edit | edit source]
The 2016 Sherco 300 ST, comes equipped with a 294cc engine, which is very large for a 2-stroke motor. Its seat measures 25.39 inches off the ground, low enough to make it suitable for youth riders.
