The Simplex Automatic was a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Simplex between 1942 and 1960. Claimed horsepower was 3.89 HP (2.9 KW) @ 5000 RPM.
Engine
A 50.8mm bore x 64.3mm stroke result in a displacement of just 130.0 cubic centimeters. Fuel was supplied via a overhead valves (ohv).
Drive
Power was moderated via the variable speed automatic.
Chassis
It came with a 2.50-26 front tire and a 2.50-26 rear tire. The front suspension was a leading link while the rear was equipped with a rigid.
