Instead you'll run into the Boulevard S50, the new name Suzuki uses for the Intruder you were looking for. This middleweight v-twin is a great choice for new riders who are not exactly comfortable with the grunt of the big-bore machine. Still, the Boulevard S50 packs plenty of punch to be thrilling and provide the rider with enough grit for smooth passing traffic, a firm stance for urban slicing and good comfort for longer hauls. You'll get the same narrow front wheel evoking old-school choppers, shorty exhausts and a classic two-up one-piece seat which will never go out of fashion. 2006 Suzuki Boulevard S50How about a compact liquid-cooled cruiser which is not too big and not too small, while exuding plenty of retro looks and still packed with heaps of modern technology? Don't bother to look for a name to suit such a bike, Suzuki's got it all covered: it's the 2006 MY Boulevard S50. The Boulevard S50 retains much of the '70s vibe the old Savage bragged on, but the thumper was replaced by a v-twin engine which brings in the specific rumble. The moderate displacement is matched by the shorty exhaust, while traditional chopper feats, such as the skinny front wheel and fender, narrow frame and sculpted seat are obviously in place. 2007 Suzuki Boulevard S50At the middle of the Boulevard S series, the S50 is a nifty presence which introduces a liquid-cooled engine, while maintaining the slender, narrow frame and low seat. A bike for those who are not ready to take on the big-bore beasts and for seasoned riders as well, the Boulevard S50 offers a laid back riding experience and will effortlessly serve as a city slicer, regular commuter and even vacation machine, with third-party luggage systems. 2008 Suzuki Boulevard S50In case the S83 is a tad too big for you, you need not despair, as Suzuki has more goodies in stock, and the liquid-cooled Boulevard S50 is just one of them. With a more moderate displacement yet without making a compromise as far as power, torque and rideability are concerned, the Boulevard S50 is just a smaller package for the same goodies.
2009 Suzuki Boulevard S50The 2009 Boulevard S50 is the smaller sibling of the S83, and it introduces a liquid-cooled v-twin, as opposed to the air/oil cooling system of the latter. Slim, narrow, aggressive and retaining much of the S83's zero-compromise character, the Boulevard S50 is great for slicing the city, as it sports just the right amount of nerve and sharp handling to cut through the urban jungle.
